Hospital stays and follow-up in China
Plan practical support, discharge documents and continuity of care before admission.
Request a free consultationWards and family caregivers
Ask whether you will stay in a shared or private ward, what is included and whether a companion can stay. Some wards expect families or separately arranged caregivers to help with everyday tasks. Confirm support for washing, mobility and meals, visiting rules and extra costs; nursing arrangements vary.
Meals and daily needs
Check how meals are ordered and paid for, dietary needs, bathroom access and laundry. Tell the clinical team about allergies and follow its fasting or diet instructions. Do not assume a hotel or accompanying relative provides nursing care.
Interpreters and consent
Confirm interpreter language, availability, hours and fees before admission. Ask for explanations of the treatment plan, risks, alternatives and consent forms in a language you understand. Anna Lin, your dedicated case manager, can coordinate communication; the treating team provides medical advice.
Discharge and care at home
Before discharge, request a summary, medication list, test results and imaging, wound-care instructions, warning signs and a hospital contact. Ask the clinician when you can travel. Arrange a clinician at home and clarify who will handle follow-up, prescriptions and urgent problems. Translation and remote follow-up availability must be confirmed.
Consultation is free. Sino RX is an independent facilitator. Our separate coordination fee is paid to Sino RX according to a written quote; hospital fees are paid directly to the hospital.
