Remote second opinion
A hospital specialist in China reviews your records remotely. We coordinate the request, translation and communication; the hospital provides the medical opinion.
Request a free consultationHow it works
- Send your records and questions.
- We translate and organize the records for the hospital.
- A hospital specialist reviews the accepted case.
- You receive a written opinion.
- An optional follow-up call with an interpreter can be arranged; availability and any additional charges are confirmed in writing.
Records to prepare
Provide imaging in DICOM format, imaging reports, pathology reports and available slides or digital pathology, discharge summaries, test results, medication and allergy lists, and your questions. Do not upload DICOM files through this form; ask Anna Lin, your dedicated case manager, for the hospital-approved transfer method.
Timing and fees
Typically 1–3 weeks depending on hospital, after complete records are accepted. Additional tests or missing records can extend this estimate.
Consultation with our coordination team is free. Remote second opinion coordination costs $190, plus the hospital’s own consultation charge paid directly to the hospital. Both are quoted in writing before you proceed.
FeesLimits
This is not emergency care and does not replace your own doctor. A specialist may need an in-person examination or more tests before giving an opinion. Discuss the written opinion with your treating doctor.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to travel?
The review is remote. If the specialist needs an examination, the hospital will explain the next steps; travel is optional.
What will I receive?
A written hospital specialist opinion based on the records accepted for review. Confirm the report language, translation scope and optional interpreted call in the written quote.
Can you handle an emergency?
No. Seek local emergency care for urgent symptoms; do not wait for a remote review.
