Medical travel to China from Russia
Practical planning for patients travelling from Russia: records, entry requirements, language support and direct hospital payment.
Request a free consultationVisa and entry planning
Check the Chinese embassy’s current requirements for your passport, residence, purpose and intended length of stay. Explain that you are travelling for planned medical care and ask which entry permission and documents apply, including for a companion. Hospital letters do not guarantee a visa or entry. Confirm requirements before non-refundable bookings.
Routes and flights
Compare departures from Moscow or another convenient Russian departure city and arrivals in Beijing or Shanghai, with onward connections if the hospital is elsewhere. These are planning options, not confirmed flight schedules or a promise of direct service. Check current routes with the airline, connection and airport-change requirements, baggage and mobility assistance. Confirm travel timing with the treating clinician before booking a return flight.
Language support
Tell Anna Lin, your dedicated case manager, whether you need Russian support. Confirm interpreter availability, appointment hours, written translation and costs before booking. Do not assume the clinical team speaks your language; ask for consent and discharge instructions you understand.
Payment preparation
Request the hospital estimate, deposit and accepted payment channels. Pay hospital fees directly to the hospital. Check your own bank’s ability to process the payment, card restrictions and transfer timing; keep receipts and arrange a backup. Our coordination fee is paid separately to Sino RX under a written quote.
Treatment questions
You can ask about second opinions, oncology assessment, health checks, dental care, eye care or orthopaedic consultations. These are inquiry topics, not recommendations or a statement of popularity. Hospital clinicians review your records and decide suitability, alternatives and risks.
How the process works
Start with a free consultation about your goals and preferred language. Share records through the agreed channel; request hospital review and a written estimate. Agree a separate coordination scope and fee in writing. Then confirm entry documents, appointments, payment and accommodation. Before returning home, collect records and agree follow-up with your doctors.
Consultation is free. Sino RX is an independent facilitator. Our separate coordination fee is paid to Sino RX according to a written quote; hospital fees are paid directly to the hospital.
